The clear aligners are worn for 2 weeks, 22 hours per day. The aligners are only removed for eating, drinking and brushing. Aligners are switched every fortnight until all aligners in your series are completed – at which point you have reached your end goal for straight teeth. As you replace each aligner, your teeth will move little by little each week, until they have straightened to their final position. Every four to eight weeks, you will visit us to ensure your treatment is progressing as planned and any necessary adjustments are made.
Invisalign aligners are virtually invisible, which makes them a great option if you’re looking for a discreet orthodontic treatment. The treatment does not involve any metal brackets or wires, so the aligners are very comfortable to wear. One of the major advantages of Invisalign is that the aligners are removable. You can take them out when you eat and when your brush and floss your teeth.
The majority of orthodontic cases are eligible to be treated with Invisalign and we treat all ages – from teenagers to adults.
